If it weren't for ya gumboots where would ya be?
Otto & Jahlesha picked up a pair of @skellerup_red_band gumboots each as part of a Year 11 Maths measurement exercise, throwing gummies, gathering data. Shout-out to the Maths Dept. for coming up with creative ways to make things interesting, and a mega thanks to Skellerup & former Head Girl Faith for the cool sponsorship!

Our first chance to meet kanohi ki te kanohi (face to face) is this Thursday, 20 March at 6pm. Come and share some hangi and a chat with our teachers.

This is an informal gathering where you can share kai together with our kaiako/teachers, in a relaxed setting outside our school hall (or inside if it's wet). No need to book or make appointment times, just turn up for a kōrero.

This is a great opportunity to talk to your child's teachers this year or to meet them for the first time, especially for our new whānau or those that are starting their NCEA pathways.

If you have any further questions, please get in touch with your child's Dean or to rt@opunake.school.nz.
