Cheers McDonald Real Estate 🎉Nothing better than seeing our youth loving their local. These lads are well known in Opunake, often seen biking to their favourite spots, going out in messy conditions – they just love being in the water. McDonald Real Estate are proud to support the Opunake High School Surf Team and wish them all the best for their third national secondary school surf competition up north and a trip to Australia next year. 🏄

Ōpunakē High School would like to acknowledge the passing of the Rt. Hon. James B Bolger this past week.
More commonly known as Jim, he attended our kura in the late 40's, leaving to work on the family farm.
In our 75th Jubilee, he commented "I have fond memories of a small friendly school. We all came from local communities that had a strong sense of identity"
Rest in peace.
