FROM THE PRINCIPAL:
The staff at Ōpunakē High Scho are excited to have our wonderful ākonga (students) back on site. We are so proud of each and everyone of them, especially our senior students who did incredibly well at NCEA Level 1, 2, and 3, smashing national standards.

We have a sensational year ahead with the Centenary Celebration just around the corner; Taranaki Anniversary Weekend, 7th - 9th March. And look forward to working together with our talented tamariki (children) in growing good people for a rapidly changing world.
Starting dates are as follows:
Friday 31st Jan.: Year 13 Prefects only:
Monday 3rd Feb.: Year 13's
Tuesday 4th Feb.: Year 9 (Powhiri for Year 9s and all other new students)
Friday 7th Feb.: Year 10-12
Deans have emailed out start up letters to their year groups with tailored information. These will be resent this week in case you missed them.
Looking forward to even more DREAMS coming true for all of our successful students.
